About the Event
KFNV will host its monthly KFNV Friends Lunch at Lake Needwood.
Our monthly Lunch/Picnic is scheduled at Lake Needwood in Rock Creek Regional Park and we are looking forward to seeing you there.
The attraction of Lake Needwood is it’s quite beautiful in the Spring and it’s a chance to be outdoors. As the park is not in King Farm nor as nicely convenient to us as the Farmstead, but that is not available for the rest of the year.
We will be arranging a few new elements for the day. Chief among those, transportation for our group from King Farm to the Park. Courtesy of KFNV’s Services program, we’re confident we are hoping to have enough certified drivers to move the group from a central meeting point at King Farm to our area at the lake about 4 miles away. Please answer the question about whether need a ride or if certified volunteer driver for KFNV who can provide a ride.
We will have some of the same picnic rules: You can bring your own lunch from home, you can have it made by one of our excellent sandwich specialists in King Farm, or you can get whatever you want from a local restaurant and just haul it along.
