About the Event
On January 29, the KFNV will visit PLANET WORD, an immersive language experience located at the historic Franklin School in Washington, D.C. Ideal for all ages, Planet Word is a voice-activated museum (the world’s first!), and the interactive galleries and exhibits bring words and language to life in all sorts of fun ways.
We’ll meet at the Shady Grove Metro at 9:15 and take the train at 9:22 train to Metro Center. The museum is a short 4 minute walk from the station. Each person is responsible for purchasing their own ticket to the museum and I suggest ordering a ticket only a few days ahead with the possibility of inclement weather. When ordering the ticket, please register for the 10-10:30 entrance time.
While the Metro Club is open, and you do not need to be a member of KFNV, being a member has advantages to join other activities.…
