About the Event
The metro club will go to the newly renovated Smithsonian Castle on Monday, JULY 20. The exhibit AMERICAN ASPIRATIONS will only be at the museum from June 2-July 26 and is being presented by the Smithsonian to honor the 250th anniversary of the nation, presenting the promise and aspirations of America expressed though more than 30 of its most treasured objects. Examples, Thomas Jefferson’s desk, Sallie Ride’s flight suit in space, Edison’s light bulb, George Washington’s candle stand, etc. etc.
