MANY THANKS TO YOU

Updated: May 4, 2022

Although this past year has been rather challenging with changes to King Farm Neighbors Village’s (KFNV) events and services due to the pandemic, the Board of Directors (Board) for KFNV is heartened by the support that its members, volunteers, and supporters have offered through their engagement in KFNV activities, monetary donations, and most recently offering the Board insights and suggestions regarding KFNV services and events through participation in its survey. Below are the highlights from the survey:

1. Survey respondents expressed interest in current and potential KFNV aging-in-place services and in social and educational events.

2. They offered their time to volunteer through KFNV, in providing aging-in-place services such as rides to medical appointments.

3. Survey respondents encouraged KFNV to begin transitioning to more in-person social and educational activities.

4. They suggested new events and activities for KFNV to consider, and some respondents offered to lead new social activities.

5. The KFNV heard that its members mainly receive information on KFNV from the Chronicle, King Farm Email Blast, and KFNV emails; and

6. The survey respondents provided helpful suggestions regarding the KFNV webpage (KFNV.org).

The KFNV Board is currently reviewing and studying the survey responses, and at the KFNV Annual Meeting in April, the Board will discuss the results of the survey and provide more information on future events and services. The KFNV Board has planned this annual meeting to be its first in-person event since March 2020 and invite all of you to attend this meeting at the King Farm Community Center to get an idea of what the future holds for the KFNV.

During this holiday season, the KFNV Board wishes you a happy, healthy, and relaxing time with family and friends. Here’s hoping next year will bring an end to this pandemic and provide more and better opportunities for the KFNV to realize its mission of “Neighbors Helping Neighbors.”
